A mobile phone with a “happy tic”!

chiqtech.com finds a mobile phone that puts a whole new meaning of reaching out to touch someone.

If you’re crazy about Apple iPhone’s touch display screen, you (and your fingers) might go gaga over the latest touch-screen mobile phone from Samsung Electronics.

Labeled as the Anycall “Haptic” (from the Greek word “haptesthai,” meaning “to touch”) the phone features a large 3.2 inches touch-screen display just like the iPhone but the Anycall Haptic does Apple iPhone one better: The Anycall Haptic enables you to feel-sense clicks, vibrations and other tactile input.

The Anycall Haptic can provides you with 22 types of touch sensations. For example, increasing the volume triggers a vibration similar to a real analog radio.

The Anycall Haptic also offers Widget function compatibility. With it you can place your favorite icons on the screen allowing you to create your own unique screen menu.

Unlike other simple touch mechanism models, AnyCall Haptic supports a full drag and drop interface with which you can take full advantage of all its new features simply with the touch of a finger.

You can also enjoy various multimedia entertainments and advanced features like a 2-mega pixel camera, and Bluetooth 2.0.

So far, the AnyCall Haptic (Models: SCH-W420, SPH-W4200) has only been released in South Korea as the top premium model of Samsung Electronics’ AnyCall Series but it’s possible that it’ll be reaching a suitable store near you soon.
